"Ghost Lines" is a progression of my research into works that create three-dimensional presentations of what we usually encounter two-dimensionally. The kinetic sculptures play on the illusory quality of moving and rotating lines. The works create voluminous, ghostly images of an object. One that our eyes may recognize as a single line and at times as an apparitional blur.

The form of the work addresses neglected heritage architecture, specifically various types of columns found in different cities. Seemingly quotidian to its passers by, but embody a dense history of the city's past.
