Delhi Columns, Morton Grove are photographs that document columns from a private home in New Delhi, which were built to replicate those at the White House, Washington DC. The images were then collaged onto a house in Morton Grover, Illinois, with a mass-produced exterior. The work questions the ideological strength of the façade while delving into a conversation about the idealization of the American home in contrast to the reality of generic suburban houses in Chicago. This work is a part of a larger series on architectural pastiches.
