Capital Formation/No Exit Nation is the second iteration of collaborative works with Jyothidas K.V. ‘s that involve performance, plinths, poetry, prints, and projections. The works respond to architecture beyond the facade of rapid development in cities and look under the peels of paint and plaster to engage with its forgotten histories and the human cost of imposed change. It references materials and architectural fragments that point toward historic continuities, which explicate social hierarchies and power structures. At Dimensions Variable, we look at the context of Little Haiti and register our response through words, objects, and audiences.
